Superb impenetrable inky black colour with an equally deep black dark red hue. Fragrant morello cherry, liquorice and blueberry scents infused with rose petals are married to provincial herb and spice notes. Rich and lusciously textured the palate is awash with ripe morello cherry, blueberry and liquorice fruits. Dryish finish with stern tannins imparting a grippy feel. Vibrant acidity with some dried herb and spice characters lingering on the slightly chalky yet energetic finish.
