Dense pitch black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Spicy dark plum and liquorice aromas are trailed by vanillin cedar and subtle peppered earth notes. Mid weighted and only moderately concentrated the palate features a relatively elegant flavour profile of spicy plums and red liquorice over vanillin cedar, earth and a dash of pepper. Tightly structured with bright acidity it has slightly chalky tannins and a somewhat lean finish.
