A blend of 70% Shiraz, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot sourced from McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek. Barrel fermented and matured in 97% American and 3% French oak of which 41% was new.
Dense midnight black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Intense ripe blackberry, liquorice and cassis aromas mix with toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice. The rich, voluptuously textured palate is awash with lavish dark plum, liquorice and cassis flavours which are interwoven with toasty vanillin oak and spicy earth elements. Excellent power with velvet smooth tannins and a long decadent finish.
