Matured in French oak. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced liquorice and dark plum aromas are interwoven with choc mint, vanillin cedar, earth and spicy mocha notes. Rich plush liquorice, dark plum and choc mint flavours have a vanillin cedar, earth and spice back drop. Fleshy mouth feel with fine grained tannins providing the framework. Long expressive conclusion.
