Matured in large wooden vats made out of French and Slovenian oak. Slightly cloudy red to dark colour with a red hue. Delicate sour to red cherry aromas infused with fresh herbs are trailed by some smoky cedar, earth and spice notes. Light and elegant in its feel across the palate, red cherry, winter strawberry and cranberry fruits overlay infusions of fresh herbs, earthy graphite like characters and spice. Lively acidity with slightly grainy tannins. Finishes energetic and savoury.
