2021 Domaine de la Vougeraie Terres de Famille Bourgogne Chardonnay

Matured in 17% new French oak barrels for a period of 16 months. Bright yellow straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine are intermeshed with dried honey and roasted almond scents which are trailed by some citrusy nougat and spice notes. Fresh nectarine and citrus fruits are overtaken by toast, dried honey and hazelnut characters across the back half. Lively acidity with spicy hazelnut like characters lingering through the finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
