Certified organic and biodynamic with maturation taking place in old French oak barrels for 10 months. Dense inky black heart with a bright dark purple hue. Aromas of crushed cherries intermingle with liquorice, graphite, inky earth and peppered fresh herb notes. Richly fruited and vibrantly textured juicy cherry and red liquorice fruits are underscored by lively acidity with notions of inky earth and peppered herbs threaded through the back half. Slightly chalky tannins with an energetic yet decidedly edgy finish.
