Matured for 16 months in French oak. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Wafting through the nostrils are intense aromas of dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry which mingle with some earth, confectionary and spice notes. Rich juicy dark raspberry, ripe cherry and liquorice fruits flood the mouth underscored by subtle notions of scorched earth, vanillin cedar and spice. Opulently textured and concentrated it possesses polished tannins. Concludes long and succulent.
