Matured in French oak barrels for 14-18 months. Midnight black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of blackcurrant, black olive and dried herbs are followed by some tobacco leaf and spice notes. Mid weighted with fleshy plum and blackcurrant fruits that overlay a dried herb, toasty cedar, tobacco leaf and spicy black olive back drop. Fine grained tannins with a plummy blackcurrant led finish.
