2021 Cantina Sava Poggio Pasano Negroamaro

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of morello cherry and liquorice intermingle with earth, vanillin spice and subtle cinnamon notes. Bold ripe morello cherry, liquorice and dried cherry flavours are layered across the palate with dried herb, vanilla and cinnamon characters ensuing on the back half. Good flesh with ripe chewy tannins and a generous conclusion that shows some cinnamon spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
