A blend of 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing draws out aromas of red to black currants infused with graphite followed by hints of dried herbs, earthy black olive and spicy cedar. Medium bodied and slightly inky in its feel, generous red to black currant, liquorice, earthy graphite, black olive and spicy cedar flavours are discernible. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins compacting the conclusion.
