Matured in French oak barriques for 10 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. The nose offers up perfumed like violet top notes which are intermeshed with sour to red cherry, wild strawberry, dried herb, forest floor and delicate spicy cedar notes. Smooth, supple and deliciously fruited, the lighter bodied palate features red to dark cherry and strawberry flavours over infusions of dried herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins finishing with a nicely balanced freshness and long finessed aftertaste.
