A blend of 45% Sangiovese, 22% Syrah, 17% Tempranillo, 13% Nebbiolo and 3% Barbera aged for 12 months in seasoned French oak. Dark red core with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Spicy red currant and red cherry aromas mingle with dusty earth, Mediterranean herbs and black olive notes. Mid weighted the palate has a savoury flavour profile of spicy red currants, dusty earth, dried herbs and black olives. Bright acidity with slightly chalky tannins and a dryish finish.
