Matured in French oak for 12 months. Impenetrable inky black purple in colour with a very deep bright dark purple hue. Freshly crushed blackberry and plum scents merge with red liquorice, fresh herbs, inky earth and peppered dried meat notes. Rich black cherry, red liquorice and plum fruits have a meaty feel with scorched earth, dried meats and blackpepper lying underneath. Firm, chewy tannins with bright youthful acidity and a long spicy pepper infused aftertaste.
