A blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon and 32% Shiraz matured for a period of 24 months in French and American oak (18% new). Midnight black in colour with a dark red hue. Lifted blackcurrant and liquorice aromas are intermeshed with cedary tobacco, dried herb and spicy earth notes. Medium to full in body, the palate is layered with rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruit which overlays a mulberry, dried herb, cedary tobacco and spice background. Fleshy textural feel with smooth polished tannins concluding medium to long and savoury.
