Aged for 15 months in an even spilt of French and American oak. Midnight black at its core with a dark red hue. Nosing highlights pronounced dark plum, liquorice and black cherry aromas over smoky vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and peppered meat notes. Rich, velvety textured and sumptuous the medium to full bodied palate sports succulent dark plum, liquorice and ripe blueberry fruits over a vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and pepper background. Beautifully polished yet structural tannins concluding long, sleek and finessed.
