A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre, two thirds of which was aged in tank and one third in barrel for a period of 18 months.
Midnight black heart with a bright purple red hue. Alluring red raspberry and liquorice aromas infused with fresh herbs are followed by some light scorched earth and peppered meat notes. Fresh and juicy the mid weighted palate sports dark raspberry and red liquorice fruits over scorched earth and peppered meat characters. Slightly chewy tannins with a lingering peppery red to dark fruited finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
