Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals black cherry and liquorice aromas infused with blackpepper followed by some scorched earth and spicy black olive notes. Rich ripe black cherry and liquorice flavours drive the medium to full bodied palate with notions of vanillin oak and scorched earth lying underneath. Peppery finish with a sturdy tannin structure imparting a chewy feel onto the lengthy aftertaste.
