Inky black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Aromas of black cherries, liquorice and dark to black plums fill the nostrils. Subtle smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and pepper scents then chime in. Full in body the palate is engulfed with rich dark plum, dark cherry, blueberry and liquorice fruits which have a juicy feel. Lying underneath are vanillin cedar, fennel and pepper characters. Velvet like tannins with good freshness and an aftertaste that’s long and fleshy.
