Matured in 34% new French oak. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Lifted black cherry, dark plum and anise aromas mix with toasty vanillin cedar, earth and spice notes. The rich, weighty palate is amply endowed with black cherry, anise and dark plum flavours. Ripe, fleshy textural feel with toasty vanillin cedar, earth and spice elements sitting underneath. Velvet smooth tannins concluding long and seductive.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
