Quite deep bright dark red colour with black tinged edges and a purple red hue. Top notes of violets and anise show good lift with plum and dark cherry scents also present. Subtle forest floor and spicy fresh herb notes then chime in. Juicy plum and dark cherry fruits have a bright youthful feel underscored by fresh acidity. Earthy forest floor, fresh herb and spicy cedar elements ensue. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Elegant, medium powered conclusion.
