2019 Koehler-Ruprecht Pinot Noir Kabinett Trocken

Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Nosing reveals a combination of red cherry, strawberry and gentle clove notes followed by forest floor, sappy cedar and delicate stalk notes. Light and energetic the palate features and elegant flavour profile of red and sour cherries, rhubarb, earth, stalk and infusions of fresh herbs. Fine grained tannins with lively acidity providing a subtle tang to the savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
