Impenetrable inky black heart showing superb saturation of colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Youthful freshly crushed blackberry and liquorice aromas show excellent lift followed by toasty oak, inky earth and blackpepper notes. Full bodied, ripe and juicy, lush blackberry and liquorice fruits are overlaid by toasty vanillin oak with some earthy graphite and blackpepper characters lying underneath. Dry inky finish with firm, slightly chalky tannins and bright acidity. Concludes with medium length.
