2018 Wheeler Vino Great Western Syrah

Matured in seasoned French oak for 6 months. Deep inky black colour with a dark red black hue. Alluring scents of aniseed, plum and smoky cedar are trailed by fennel, dried meat and peppered herb notes. Delicious liquorice, plum and apricot fruits slide effortlessly across the palate and have a silky feel. Elements of fennel, smoked meats and peppered herbs lie underneath. Texturally supple yet slightly meaty with well integrated tannin taking on a polished feel. Refined and savoury with good freshness and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
