Matured in large and small primary French oak barrels. Deep dark red black in colour with a dark red hue. Spicy red plum and liquorice aromas are married to some toasty vanillin oak, earth and blackpepper notes. Medium bodied flavours of aniseed and dark plum overlay spicy vanillin oak, scorched earth and blackpepper. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins and an earthy medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

An ever-reliable drink and positively so. This has a gentle caress of giving tannins, ripe red fruit, woodsy spice and a neat savoury twist to the finish. Drink by 2026.
