This very pretty, elegant Shiraz opens with a deep dark purple black core and a bright dark purple hue. Pronounced crushed blackberry and liquorice aromas meld into blueberry, vanillin cedar, hints of spicy clove and blackpepper. Medium weight, juicy in its feel and possessing plenty of spice and pepper, the palate is decorated with blackberry, liquorice and to a lesser extent blueberry fruits. A subtle meatiness and smoky vanillin cedar elements sit beneath. Elegant with lively acidity, slightly grainy tannins and a medium to long aftertaste.
