2018 Keller Riesling Trocken

Considered to be one of Germany’s greatest estates Keller’s wines are some of the most sought after Rieslings in the market, Jancis Robinson once stated “If I had to choose one wine to show how great dry German Riesling can be I would choose a Keller Riesling.” Whilst this is their entry level Riesling, Keller gives just as much attention to the making of this wine as he does to his GG bottlings.

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lemon and lime notes intermix with hints of mandarin and green apple scents over a flinty wet stone back drop. Shimmering lemon and lime aromas are to the fore underpinned by notions of crunchy red apple, mandarin and flinty mineral characters. Zesty mouthfeel and a dry finish with crisp acidity leading into a long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
