Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of liquorice and dark plum which meld into lightly toasted vanillin cedar, dried herb and spice notes. Rich and fleshy with medium to full body weight, the palate sports flavours of spicy dark plums and liquorice over dried herbs and vanillin cedar. Fine grained almost velvet like tannins finishing with a savoury medium length aftertaste.
