Matured in French oak, 25% new for 20 months. Vivid dark red colour with a light red hue. Perfumed scents of violets, dark cherries and ripe strawberries stream out of the glass with some anise, light toasty cedar and dried herb notes also present. Light to medium weight, the rich, supple palate is decorated with powerful dark cherry and ripe strawberry fruits which overlay a subtle anise, spicy cedar and light forest floor back drop. Gorgeously smooth tannins concluding long, delicious and silky.
