2018 Ghost Rock Estate Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Nosing evokes perfumed like scents of violets, ripe dark cherries, strawberries and anise followed by some forest floor and spicy cedar notes. The light to medium weight palate has a juicy feel with flavours of ripe dark cherries and anise dominating over spicy oak, earth and subtle dried herb characters. Quite supple in its texture with velvety tannins, good power and a long savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
