Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals lifted black cherry and liquorice aromas which meld into lightly smoked vanillin cedar, dried meat and spicy earth notes. Rich juicy flavours of black cherries, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar, light earth and spice are backed by ripe chewy tannins and bright underlying acidity. Finishes with a medium to long aftertaste.
