Totally opaque black core with a deep bright purple hue. Elevated ripe red currant and mulberry aromas intermix with cedary tobacco characters, black olive and bay leaf. The medium bodied palate has a bright, elegant mouthfeel with red to black currant and mulberry fruits showing ample richness over dusty vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco characters and infusions of bay leaf. Finishes dry with vibrant youthful acidity and slightly chalky tannins. Medium to long bright red fruited aftertaste.
