Aged for 10 months in large format seasoned French oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted ripe blackberry and liquorice aromas mix with dusty vanillin cedar, hints of dark chocolate and spice. Rich blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours cast an opulent feel across the medium to full bodied palate. Vanillin cedar, earth and spice characters ensue. Polished yet nicely built tannin structure with a long generously endowed conclusion.
