2018 Domaine Raphael Chopin La Savoye Beaujolais Villages

Deep dark purple black tinged colour with a vibrant purple hue. A perfumed mix of violets, incense and fragrant herbs sail out of the glass followed by spicy dark ripe cherries, strawberries and notions of clove and earth. Deliciously fresh the palate serves up juicy red and dark berry flavours along with a dash of sour cherries infused with herbs, incense, light earth and spice. Supple feel with good underlying bright acidity and refined tannins, powering through to a long savoury ripe berry driven aftertaste.
