2018 Domaine Metrat et Fils La Roilette Fleurie Cuvee Vieilles Vignes

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Fragrant scents of violets and clove combine with sour to dark cherry and strawberry notes followed by some smoked meats, earth and spice. Delicious spicy red to dark cherry fruits overlay sappy fresh herb like characters, sour cherries, earth, clove and subtle incense infusions. Bright, lively acidity underpins the fruit. Polished tannins with a long elegant aftertaste.
