2018 Chateau Cadillac Le Bout du Monde

Deep dark red black in colour with a dark red hue. Rising out of the glass are aromas of blackcurrant, liquorice and earth which are trailed by some vanillin cedar, subtle tobacco and spicy leather notes. Rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits carry good weight across the palate. Tertiary characters of spicy vanillin cedar, tobacco and scorched earth then move in. Firmish tannins lend a slightly grippy feel to the earth laden finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
