Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Alluring scents of dark plum, black cherry and liquorice laced with dried herbs sail through the nostrils. Scorched earth, vanillin cedar and peppered meats follow. Rich and fleshy textured the medium to full bodied palate is layered with dark plum, liquorice and juicy black cherry fruits. Smoked meats, spicy vanillin cedar, earthy leather and peppered dried herb characters lend further complexity. Polished yet sturdily built tannin structure concluding long and quite luscious.
