Impenetrable inky black heart with a deep dark red black hue. Wafting out of the glass are intense blackberry, violet and liquorice scents which are married to vanillin cedar, earth and spicy blackpepper notes. Rich and densely textured the blockbuster palate is laden with blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits which possess a youthful freshness. Nuances of vanillin cedar, blueberry, subtle earth and spice sit underneath. Bright acidity and solidly built tannins form the framework. Excellent power with a long and vibrant aftertaste.
