2018 Bodegas Mas Que Vinos El Senorito de Ercavio Tinto Tempranillo

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of black cherry, liquorice, earth and leather are trailed by hints of dark chocolate and spice. Rich chewy black cherry and liquorice flavours are interwoven with scorched earth, old leather and spicy cedar. Firm grippy tannins with a muscular feel to the rustic finish.
Cellar 4-5 years.

The very spicy 2018 Viña El Señorito de Ercavio is a single-vineyard Cencibel planted 25 years ago on limestone-rich soils. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and matured in second use French oak barrels for nine months. It's ripe, fruit-driven and modern but with the rustic Cencibel character and some dusty tannins. Drink 2022-2028.
