Quite a powerful style, typical of Central Otago, with the seven months' ageing in French oak adding gentle spice to the rich, bold and well-extracted fruit. Full of ripe and juicy mulberry and strawberry flavours with hints of raspberry sweets on the finish, along with fresh earth and dried herbs. Silky, savoury and long with soft tannins.
