2018 Abad Dom Bueno Mencia Laderas del Norte

Produced from Mencia grapes with maturation taking place in French oak for 12 months. Very deep black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Intense ripe black cherry, liquorice and blackberry aromas intermix with dark chocolate, vanillin cedar, earth and hints of spicy leather. Rich blackberry and black cherry fruits overlay a back drop of liquorice, dark chocolate, earthy vanillin cedar, leather and spice. Opulent yet chewy textural feel with a sturdy tannin structure. The slightly dryish yet generously fruited finish has an underlying earthiness to it.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
