2017 Tomich Woodside Vineyard Shiraz

Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Spicy dark cherry and liquorice aromas are followed by some smoky cedar, dried meats and blackpepper. Medium bodied the savoury palate is filled with ripe dark cherry and liquorice fruits which sit over some meatiness, vanillin cedar and spice. Well integrated velvet like tannins with a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Svelte shiraz, well powered and turned out. Black cherries, port wine jelly, sweet dry spices, mocha and cloves. It hits all the right notes, and does so in silken style. It completes the job beautifully. Drink by 2029.
