2017 Tar & Roses Heathcote Shiraz

‘A rich and dense Heathcote Shiraz that has a plush yet chewy feel.’

Totally opaque black dark red core with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Elevated black cherry and liquorice aromas laced with blackpepper are followed by vanillin cedar, hints of leather and spice. Rich black cherry and liquorice flavours dominate the palate with an undercard of smoky vanillin cedar, dried clove, traces of earth and blackpepper. Dryish finish with ripe chewy tannins imparting a touch of firmness to the otherwise opulent mouthfeel. Excellent concentration with a powerful aftertaste of ripe black cherries, blackberries, liquorice, smoky oak, dried clove and blackpepper.
