Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Lifted liquorice, dark plum and liquorice aromas infused with toasty vanillin oak are followed by some earth and spice. The mid weight palate has a plump juicy feel with liquorice and plum flavours intermixing with toasty vanillin oak and spice. Slightly dryish tannins have a grainy feel. Fresh acidity with a moderate to medium length conclusion.
