2017 Leeuwin Estate Prelude Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

Excellent depth of colour featuring a midnight black core and a deep bright dark red hue. Expressive blackcurrant, black olive and mulberry scents meld into cedary tobacco and bay leaf notes. Medium bodied with ample generosity to the ripe blackcurrant fruit, notions of mulberry, dusty cedar, light tobacco and bay leaf then move in. Fine, slightly grainy tannins provide an excellent framework. Concludes medium to long with a sense of refinement.
