2017 Joshua Cooper The Springs Tooborac Heathcote Syrah

Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing suggests some whole bunch use with fragrant red fruit aromas littered with clove, smoky cedar, dried herbs and spice flowing out of the glass. Very light in body, elegant and fresh, crunchy red cherry, red liquorice and a dash of sour cherry flavours intermix with clove, dried herbs and subtle spice. Lively acidity and fine grained tannins lead into a dryish finish that shows good length.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
