2017 Fallen Giants Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a bright purple hue. A mix of plum, ripe blueberry and liquorice aromas are trailed by vanillin cedar, light inky earth and spice notes. Medium bodied, savoury and possessing superb underlying power the palate features a rich yet elegantly textured flavour profile of spicy dark plum, ripe dark cherries and a dash of liquorice over earthy vanillin cedar, subtle dried herbs and pepper. Finishes with fresh acidity and slightly dryish but balanced fine grained tannins. Long spicy dark plum, ripe cherry, liquorice, subtle dried clove, vanillin cedar, earth and pepper aftertaste.
