2017 Donnhoff Tonschiefer Riesling Dry Slate

Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinge to the outskirts and a watery hue. Elevated lime, spicy green apple and subtle mandarin scents meld into slatey mineral and citrus notes. Intense lime, crunchy red apple and honeysuckle flavours are beautifully textured sitting over a slate and flinty mineral base. The dry, zingy finish shows excellent length right through to the mouth watering slate and mineral infused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
