Deep dark red black colour with a brick red hue. Aromas of sweet dark raspberry and anise combine with choc mint, hints of toasty oak and spicy earth. Velvety in its feel, the rich medium bodied palate is sweetly fruited with dark raspberry and anise flavours. Traces of dark chocolate, scorched earth and spicy vanilla follow on. Slightly dryish finish with polished tannins and some heat on the medium length aftertaste.
