A blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Perfumed scents of violets, ripe red currants and mulberries overlay vanillin cedar, light dried herbs, earth and spice. Rich flavours of ripe red currants, traces of red liquorice and mulberries are carried by an elegant frame with complexing nuances of vanillin cedar, light earth and spicy fresh herb infusions also present. Dryish finish with balanced youthful acidity and refined tannins. Supple mid palate feel with a long ripe redcurrant, mulberry, earthy vanillin cedar and spicy bay leaf aftertaste. A very pretty Emily’s with beautiful underlying red fruits.
